Useful Breathing System (PRANAYAMA) of YOGA

YOGA WITH CHIRAG

I am writing this article to give some useful advise about different type of breathing systems
in YOGA.

We all are working for long hours every day.
Seating long hours in front of computers or
standing long hours for our job is tiring.

So in today's article I am sharing one breathing exercise which is useful to improves breathing.
These breathing exercise calls PRANAYAMA in YOGA which is helpful to remove dark circles, pimples and many more other problems.

1) ANULOM VILOM OR NADISODHAN:

Best time to do this PRANAYAMA is between 5:am to 7:am

Lets see how we can do these PRANAYAMA

  • ANULOM VILOM / NADISODHAN:

1. Close the right nostril with the thumb and inhale through the left nostril.
2. At the same time count mentally "1, Om, 2, Om, 3 Om".
3. until the inhalation ends comfortably. This is the basic count. Breath deeply without strain.
4. Close the left nostril with the ring finger and release the pressure of the thumb
on the right nostril. While exhaling through the right nostril, simultaneously count
   "1, Om, 2, Om, 3 Om".
5. The time for inhalation and exhalation should be the equal
6Next inhale through the right nostril, keeping the same count in the same manner.
7At the end of inhalation close right nostril and open the left nostril, counting as before.
    This is one round.
    PRACTISE 5 TO 10 ROUNDS.

    PRACTICE NOTE:
  • Both nostrils must be clear and flowing freely.
  • If the flow of  breath in the nostril is unequal, it may be balance by practising.
YOGA is not just an exercise. It is ART OF LIVING :)
